You will be discharged on the same day of the procedure and you can resume your work immediately after completion of the procedure. The patient is advised to abstain from intercourse until the wound is completely healed and reviewed with your doctor.

The temporary side effects include some discomfort, swelling, blood spotting for which medication will be prescribed.
